WHO WE ARE
We are paving a new path to improve and advance
the lives of individuals in our Southern California community.
ABOUT US
Ahri is a new organization, founded in December 2019. We exist to challenge the broken system and create new pathways for our community so that no one lives in fear of deportation, and everyone has access to education, healthcare, affordable housing, and a healthy work environment. The core founding staff of Ahri are seasoned community organizers, activists, and advocates who are trusted by community members

Our Mission & Values
At Ahri, we are paving new pathways to justice. We believe in the power of community organizing, empowering youth, and
creating radical change. Through community education, civic engagement, and legal services, we seek to provide individuals
with the tools and skills necessary to be progressive agents of change in their communities.
Long-Term Collective Justice
We aim to center our efforts on a vision where we work alongside communities with the greatest needs while focusing on long-term solutions that lead to collective liberation.
Community-Led and Grassroots
For Ahri, everything revolves and starts from the community. We want to keep our ears to the ground and ensure our work is informed by our communities.
Wellness
Movement building is a marathon, not a sprint. In order for our community to be well, we ourselves must be well; we strive to practice self-care and wellness within ourselves as well as practice community-care throughout generations.
Welcoming Change and Struggles
Movement building is ever-changing and requires free-flowing ideas. We welcome new ideas, leaders, and voices within our organization.
